When I instant message chat, send a text message or call Merly, I like to think I am time travelling. She is sixteen hours ahead of me. 2PM Thursday my time is 5AM Friday for her. So when I am in direct contact with her, I am talking to the future; and reversely, Merly is talking to the past. I am very certain there is a more logical and scientific explanation to this experience; but right now, this is how my mind can grasp it. I actually like it regardless of what the more scientific and logical explantions are.
