Remember this video of the huge asteroid impacting with the Earth?
Well yesterday while I was getting Bob settled in bed and attending to his needs, the Tv was on the science channel. The topic program was asteroid impacts on the Earth. They featured the Japanese video; and for the first time, I was able to understand more. It was more awesome and fearsome hearing some of the explanations of the impact sequence in English. In the original posting, I suggested it was a planetoid. It seems it was actually a super massive asteroid. I assumed such colossal devastation could only be done by planetoid. I simply did not realize asteroids of that size did exist.
