I was just informed that an uncle and cousin on my father's side had died. Each had succumbed to a different type of cancer than the other. Sadly, I have no memories of either relative. I do remember Dad mentioning Uncle Teen on many occasions; but, I do not remember his physical features. As for my cousin; he was born, had a life and died yet I was not aware of his existence. There is a small sense of sadness because we never met or at least I do not remember any such meeting. It seems several lifetimes ago since I was visiting my hometown of Marianna Florida. I would like to think Uncle Teen had a vague memory of his nephew and niece living in California. If I can get some photos, I will post them.
